Where do I pick-up my boat?

For Lake Travis, the pickup location will be at the Mansfield Dam. There is a $5 entrance fee per person. For Lake Austin it will be the 360 Bridge Boat Ramp. There is a $5 entrance fee per person. CASH ONLY.

Am I responsible for finding someone to drive the boat?

No, an experienced Captain will be provided with our services to drive you around the lake.

 

Will I need to pay for fuel for the boat?

No, a full tank of gas is included with your reservation. You will not need to re-fuel unless this is an extended booking.

 

What are the requirements to rent a boat?

You must be 21 years old or older to rent a boat in Austin, book on our website

 

How much should I tip my Captain?

The average tip for our Captains is 20%.  Tips are preferred to be received in cash but credit cards are accepted.

 

Are there life vests on the boat?

Yes, each boat has life vests available for all of our guests. Children 13 and under are required to wear a life vest at all times.  Please bring your own life vest for any children under 2 years old.

 

 

Can we bring food and drinks?

Yes. You can bring bring food and drinks.  We just ask that you do not bring red wine, glass, or styrofoam. These items will not be permitted on any of our boat rentals.

 

Do you require a Captain?

Yes, we want everyone on the charter to have the most fun without the responsibility of driving a boat.  Let us take care of that for you! An experienced Captain will be included with all rentals.

 

Will you provide coolers and ice?

We’ll help you prepare for your day on the lake by providing 2 coolers and 1-20lb bag of ice with your rental.

 

Do you allow pets on the boat?
Of course! Austin is pet friendly and so are we!  As long are they are well behaved and wont damage the boat, we welcome all. *Please note: no pet life vests will be provided.*

 

Can we get picked up at a private dock?

Yes, but depending on the location there may be an additional travel fee. Please make this request at the time of your booking to secure these details and confirm our availability and rates meet your needs.

 

 

Are there any other additional fees?

There may be additional fees associated with the location of your pick-up. Please refer to the Locations page here for these details. Another cost could include a tip for your Captain! *Please note: You will be responsible for any damages to the boat caused by your party.*
